About Brandethica
Our Story
Brandethica was founded on a simple idea: support good people doing meaningful work and help them tell their stories well. We are an independent public relations and communications consultancy built around senior-level strategy, clear storytelling and genuine partnership.
Brandethica stays intentionally lean, giving clients direct access to experienced counsel and hands-on support without the layers or overhead of a traditional agency. Every engagement is approached with intention, curiosity and a genuine investment in the people and organizations behind the work.
We believe great communication should be clear, thoughtful and human. It should help people understand what matters, create connection and build trust over time. And it should always serve a purpose, whether that means strengthening a brand, building awareness, navigating change, supporting growth or moving a business objective forward.
The approach is simple: think strategically, communicate clearly, build honest relationships, bring good energy and do the work the right way. Because in the end, the goal is not simply to be seen. It is to be understood, trusted and remembered, while helping the organizations we work with get where they want to go.
To help brands share their stories with clarity, creativity and intention, and to communicate in ways that build trust and meaningful connection.
Our Founder
Kimberly Devitt Brown, APR, is a public relations strategist and relationship-driven leader with nearly two decades of experience helping organizations find clarity, tell compelling stories and build meaningful connections.
Her career spans consumer brands, attractions and entertainment, education, real estate, automotive, small business and community organizations. She has led brand building, national rebrands, earned media, creator strategy, executive counsel and high-visibility launches, helping emerging companies find their voice and established brands navigate growth, change and major moments.
Kimberly has held leadership roles with Corkcicle, Teleties and BWH Plant Co., developing national campaigns, partnerships and communications strategies that built visibility and supported growth. More recently, she led creator and public relations strategy for a global entertainment brand, supporting major openings, activations and cross-functional programs that build awareness, engagement and lasting organic momentum.
A double Gator, Kimberly earned both her bachelor’s degree in public relations and master’s degree in mass communication from the University of Florida. She is Accredited in Public Relations and remains connected to UF through service to the College of Journalism and Communications. She has also held leadership roles throughout Central Florida’s communications and civic community, including PRSA Orlando and Women in Communications Orlando, with additional involvement in the Fellowship of Women Leaders, Victory Cup Initiative and other community organizations.
At Brandethica, Kimberly leads every engagement directly, pairing senior-level strategy with hands-on partnership and bringing in trusted senior collaborators when additional expertise is needed. After nearly two decades in communications, she believes the strongest work starts with clarity and trust. Brandethica is the culmination of that belief: thoughtful strategy, meaningful relationships and communication that moves people and organizations forward.
To provide thoughtful, relationship-centered PR support that gives organizations the expertise they need without the overwhelm of building an internal team or working with a large agency.
